Software Licensing Agreement for Personalised Books, Day You
Were Born and Lottery Analyser.
This licensing agreement is dated this
_________ day of the month of _____________________ in the year
_____________ by and between My Very Own Book, (the 'Company'),
and ____________________________________________ (the 'Licensee').
The purpose of this agreement is to set certain regulations pertaining
to the licensing of the Company's computer software, hereinafter
referred to as the Computer Program.
Let it be known that the Company hereby grants the Licensee the
non-exclusive right to lease the Computer Program for an initial
fee of £1,995.00.
The Computer Program and all its copyrighted code, format, function,
and purpose remains the sole property of the Company.
The Licensee has the right to make a workable copy of the Computer
program but only for Licensee's own use, on one computer system.
The term Computer System as used herein shall mean one (1) Computer
and one (1) Computer printer. The Licensee may not sell, give,
or lease copies of the Computer Program to anyone. The Licensee
will lose all rights of this agreement and will be prosecuted
for copyright infringement under English Law, if Licensee does
so.
This contract expires on the 1st of the month of ___________________,
in the year _______ the Licensee will
have the option to renew the license each year beginning _____________1st
for the sum of £150.00 per year.
If the License fee becomes over twenty-one (21) days past due,
this agreement becomes void and the Licensee loses the right to
continue using the Computer Program and any copies made.
This software licensing agreement is not a distributorship or
franchise offering. The 'Licensee' is not part of the Company
and has no authority to obligate the Company in any way.
This agreement will supersede any and all previous agreements
between the Company and the Licensee, either written or oral.
Any communications must be in writing.
The laws of the United Kingdom shall apply to any disputes arising
out of this agreement.
