an illustrated manual showing you how to personalise the books,

Select the Title and Enter Customer
Information.
Our software is very user-friendly. Just pick a title from
the main menu. Then automatically you'll see a series of
questions that personalise the story you selected (recipients
name, age, sex, hometown, friends, etc.). Just fill in the
answers. It's that easy.
Approximate time: 1/2 minute.

Begin Printing.
Make sure you choose the right story and place the blank
pages in your printer. You'll print all of the pages now.
Your software and printer do all the work. You don't even
have to spend time collating pages - they come pre-assembled
from our warehouse.
Approximate time: 3 minutes.

Bind the Pages.
After all the pages have been printed, place them between
two adhesive end sheets. Then firmly hold the pages (as
if to open and begin reading) and staple them together down
the left side.
Approximate time: 1/2 minute.

4.

Attach the Cover.
Lay the cover face down. Peel the protective backing off
the front adhesive end sheet, and carefully attach to cover.
Repeat the procedure with the back adhesive end sheet. Then
fold the back cover over and gently press together.

The company.
My Very Own Book was set up in July 1990 in London with the opening
of three sites where we first started selling our personalised
books in the UK. The response we received to the books was overwhelming,
which confirmed to us that the market for personalised books within

We sold our first dealership in January 1991 and, to date, have
experienced phenomenal success in appointing a further 125 personalised

Software Licensing Agreement for Personalised Books, Day You
Were Born and Lottery Analyser.
This licensing agreement is dated this
_________ day of the month of _____________________ in the year
_____________ by and between My Very Own Book, (the 'Company'),
and ____________________________________________ (the 'Licensee').
The purpose of this agreement is to set certain regulations pertaining
to the licensing of the Company's computer software, hereinafter
referred to as the Computer Program
Let it be known that the Company hereby grants the Licensee the
non-exclusive right to lease the Computer Program for an initial
fee of £1,995.00.
The Computer Program and all its copyrighted code, format, function,
and purpose remains the sole property of the Company.
The Licensee has the right to make a workable copy of the Computer
program But only for Licensee's own use, on one computer system.
The term Computer System as used herein shall mean one (1) Computer
and one (1) Computer printer. The Licensee may not sell, give,
or lease copies of the Computer Program to anyone. The Licensee
will lose all rights of this agreement and will be prosecuted
for copyright infringement under English Law, if License does
so.
This contract expires on the 1st of the month of ___________________,
in the year _______ the Licensee will
have the option to renew the license each year beginning _____________1st
for the sum of £150.00 per year. If the License fee becomes
over twenty-one (21) days past due, this agreement becomes void
and the Licensee loses the right to continue using the Computer
Program and any copies made.
This software licensing agreement is not a distributorship or
franchise offering. The 'Licensee' is not part of the Company
and has no authority to obligate the Company in any way.
This agreement will supersede any and all previous agreements
between the Company and the Licensee, either written or oral.
Any communications must be in writing.
The laws of the United Kingdom shall apply to any disputes arising
out of this agreement.
